Responsibilities

• Create machine learning and AI products to provide actionable business insights
• Develop predictive models using large, varied datasets in collaboration with analytics and technical teams
• Work on end-to-end data science project lifecycles, including development, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning systems
• Partner with Vodacom Group lead data scientists to address business needs
• Contribute to the global AI and machine learning community within Vodafone

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in data science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience in data manipulation using structured tools like SQL and unstructured platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL
• Expertise in machine learning libraries and techniques (e

• Familiarity with MLOps concepts, cloud-native deployments, and containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
